Biographical Information

As you can guess from this website’s URL, my name is Pietro Vischia. I was born in Padova (20 km from Venice), and in these 23 years I became nearly 190 cm tall: my eyes are brown, as well as my long hair. One day I might consider putting here a photo of me...

My education

I attended the best Classic Lycée (a type of high school) of Padova, and i obtained the degree with anevaluation of 100/100. In the meantime, I passed some exams of the Composition Classes in the Conservatorio (music academy) Cesare Pollini, in Padova: I left the courses because of some different point of view between me and a maestro concerning my composing style...
I graduated in Physics at the University of Padova in Semptember, 2005. Now I’m attending the classes of the Specialistic Course in Subnuclear Physics, in the same University.
My graduation thesis concerns the C.D.F. experiment, id est an experiment on Particle Physics studied with Particle Accelerators. I'm currently writing a small essay to explain in plain words the theme and the results of my thesis. If you want, below you can download the definitive version of the thesis in various formats (I'm sorry, it is entirely in Italian... Maybe one day I will translate it).

I defended my thesis on September 28th, 2005, with the aid of a projection of somepdf slides.
Both the thesis and the slides have been written by me using the formatting system LaTeX, on which I will write some information and tutorials in the "Articles" section.
My thesis is now available in pdf also in the thesis search engine of the Physics Department.
